My federal return was accepted, but my NYS return was denied. Now In TurboTax desktop, and it’s requiring federal information when I just need to file NYS. What do I do?

I e-filed my federal return and it was accepted, but my state return (NY) was denied due to needing to attach a pdf for form IT-135. Now I'm in TurboTax desktop and it’s making me fill out federal information when I just need to file for NY state. Please provide support.

If you need to attach something to the NY return you MUST mail it in ... in the FILE tab choose to mail in the return so the proper filing instructions will print with the return.
