My dependent filed incorrectly which caused my return to be rejected electronically. Will I have to file via mail now that he has alos filed an amended return?

Yes, you will have to mail your return-once the social security number is used for an exemption, the IRS does not allow another tax return to be efiled.

Yes, you will have to mail your return-once the social security number is used for an exemption, the IRS does not allow another tax return to be efiled.
