My computer died and I have this years tax return rejected and needs attention. How do I get it on a different computer?

If you were using online TurboTax, your return is in your online account and you can access it from any device that has internet access.   But...if you were using the CD/download, the return is not stored online.  It was only stored on that computer's hard drive.   If you cannot retrieve it from the hard drive ----has a "Geek Squad" person or someone tried to recover your files ?  ----   then sorry to say this, but you will have to download the software to your new computer and start over.  Moral of the story---always, always, always have a backup hard drive or backup device connected so that you can recover important data if your computer crashes.
