My 2018 taxes keep getting rejected because, "The primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year does not match IRS records".
I tried to check my 2017 records, and never realized that those too were rejected, as I never got the email from the IRS saying they were rejected... I just never heard from anyone, and wasn't expecting money.
I noticed that in my 2017 return, one number in my social security number somehow got entered wrong, so I'm guessing that's why it was rejected, but I have no clear answer as it's all outdated now.
Will I not be able to file for 2018 until I fix the 2017 SS# related issue, since the IRS has no return on record for a 2017 AGI?

If your 2017 return didn't get filed then enter 0 for the AGI.
If your 2017 return didn't get filed then enter 0 for the AGI.
