Moved from Florida to Georgia in August. My wife and I worked in Florida but not in Georgia. I have income from social security and a government pension. Question is any of the income from employment in Florida taxable in Georgia.

Where do I read your response..

Hi George,
The answer is yes and no.
The amount of Georgia tax liability is first calculated based on your entire income for the year - including amounts earned in other states. Then that liability is prorated by the amount of income earned before you moved and after. Additionally, Georgia offers a partial exclusion of retirement income if you are over the age of 62.
