Mortgage interest claim

Can I claim the mortgage interest on my taxes even if the mortgage is under my husbands name? We file married filing separately and I pay the mortgage myself.

Mortgage interest claim

If you are not on the mortgage, and liable for the debt, you can't claim the interest.
