Modified AGI and obamacare Tax

I only have passive income (dividend, interest, Capital gain (ST and LT) and some deferred income (K1). So currently there is no medicare and SS taxes.

Would  obamacare tax (3.8%) apply to me once total MAGI increased to more than $200/$250 K (single/married)?

How to calculate MAGI?
