My 2024 Missouri e-file return has been rejected with this code twice. Received message that TurboTax needs update scheduled for Feb. 6. I see no way to determine if the online version has actually received the update.
Has this issued been fixed? Help, anyone else having this issue?
I have used Desktop TurboTax Deluxe for over 20 years, not impressed with online application.

I had same rejection. I am using Deluxe download version. E-filed federal return no problem. Missouri rejected my attempt to e-file return. Turbo tax email stated to wait for update on February 6. Good thing I waited because original MO-A form on Turbo tax did not calculate correctly and would have shorted me on refund. I updated today as instructed and form increased my refund. However, 3 more attempts to e-file to Missouri today were rejected. It appears Turbo tax has not got something right with the State of Missouri.
Be sure that you have downloaded and installed any available updates if using the desktop version of TurboTax by going to Online at the top of the screen and then selecting Check for Updates. If you are using TurboTax Online, the updates are done automatically in the system.
Once the update is done, go back through your state return to be sure that any calculations or forms will be in sync with the updated software. Then go through the error check and file your return.
Since there is not a known time frame for when the update would be released on February 6th, trying to re-file on February 7th might be more successful.
I completed every step exactly as you suggested and was rejected. I will wait until February 7 and go through those steps and try again.

Do you or @LE2024 have Kansas City forms in your return, or need Form MO-CR (credit for income tax paid to other states)? If so, the Kansas City forms are scheduled to be available 2/20/2025, and the MO-CR is scheduled for 2/13/2025. If either of those is a situation your return, monitor forms availability with this tool:
Mine was also rejected. HOWEVER, I looked again at the message from TT and it states it will be fixed by Feb 6, 2024!!! Not 2025, so it is an old message. I hope they are working on this new problem.
The Mac Downloaded version has had the same issue. TurboTax's response to this issue has been terrible. They have lost a customer.
The odd thing is that there was NO update this morning 2/7 and I didn't see an obvious problem with MO-A, so I just told TT to upload again. I just received notice that Missouri has accepted it. I didn't change anything .... and it doesn't seem that TT changed anything.... so just keep trying.
