Misplaced 1099's

I began my 2018 tax return on TT and was unable to complete prior to April 15th, so I filed and was granted an extension. All income data is in TT, but I misplaced the 1099's in the meantime. Can I file without them? If not how can I best replace them? The vast majority of our income is from Vanguard and Social Security.

If you efile you don't have to attach or mail anything in.

If you mail your return you only have to attach a 1099 if it has federal withholding shown on it.

if you already entered them you should be ok.  They are for your records to keep.

You need the exact information that is on the Form 1099-B from Vanguard and the SSA-1099 from Social Security to be entered on the 2018 tax return.

You can sign onto your Vanguard account and the Form 1099-B for 2018 should be available online.

Or you may be able to import the 1099-B, see this TurboTax support FAQ - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/entering-importing/help/how-do-i-import-my-1099/01/26254

For the SSA-1099 go to this Social Security Administration website for a replacement SSA-1099 - https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/replacement-SSA-1099.html
