Miscellaneouse Expense - Paralegal Fees

I’m a self-employed Lawyer working as a contractor in a law firm. I paid money to one of the firm’s partners for their Paralegal employee’s services. Do I enter the expense under Miscellaneous Expense with a description of "Outside Services"?

Yes, you can list that as outside services or contract labor.  Please check to make sure that you are not required to issue that person a 1099.

The paralegal is an employee of the other lawyer.  The paralegal received a W-2 from that lawyer.

Yes, you can deduct the amount you paid for paralegal services as Outside services.
