I do not own a business but received Misc income. How do I submit it?

What kind of income did you get from the broker? Why did they pay it to you? What was it for?

What kind of broker did you get income from? A stockbroker? A real estate broker? Or some other kind of broker?

If the broker sent you a Form 1099-MISC, which box of the 1099-MISC is the income in?
