I'm trying to delete an amount under Less Common Income / Misc Income but can't find where it is. There are way too many options under Misc Income and I don't remember which category I used. The system wants to walk me through another entry, as if I'm adding something additional. How can I delete this thing!? Thanks!

Try this one:
If you did not receive a 1099-misc or W-2, then you can report this as miscellaneous income.
Select Federal Taxes, Wages & Income, I'll Choose What to Work On
Scroll to Less Common Income, and select Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
Select Other Income not already reported on For W-2 or for 1099/Other reportable income
Select Yes
Continue until you see Any Other Earned Income, and select yes, now on the next screen select other
Complete the information
Colleen,
I'm trying to DELETE info that I entered under Less Common Income > Misc Income. It seems to be in Other Reportable Income. I can't get it to delete - on my last attempt, it doubled the number, so now Income amount (and thus, taxes due) is way off. Please help.
Sometimes, there is a garbage can next to the entry to delete it. You can also try another route.

Understood. but you still haven't answered my question: how do I delete the # / forms. The directions she gave me don't match anything I have.
If you are trying to delete a 1099-MISC form, please try the below steps.
If it's not a specific form you need to delete, you can search for Miscellaneous income and that will provide a jump link to return to that section of your program. If you are still having trouble deleting this amount, please reach out to TurboTax Customer Support for assistance. What is the TurboTax phone number?
