MIne says 12a and had no code

on my w-2 there is box 12a which reads See inst. for box 12, so I dont know how to get the code. What do I do?

The sentence "See instructions for box 12" is intended for your employer, not you. There are many options for box 12, and the IRS wants your employer to read and understand them before completing your W-2.

You do not need to worry about this; just enter the codes and dollar amounts (if any) from the W-2 into TurboTax as written.
