Mileage deduction

I work for three separate companies as an independent contractor. When I'm deducting mileage, do I deduct all miles from one of the gigs or divide the miles used into all three gigs?

If you had multiple clients for one type of business, you can combine them all.  For instance if you drive for Uber and for Lyft, you can combine your expenses and income onto one Schedule C for ride sharing.

If you have clients for different kinds of business, for instance if you were a graphic artist and also did pet care, then you will need to create two different businesses, each with their own Schedule C.
