Microsoft defender warnign on running turbotax.exe

When I tried to run turbotax.exe file, the Microsoft defender warning saying "unrecognized app stopped from running".

Is this normal. Can I still go ahead and run the app.

what is the operating system on your computer?  windows 10S?  if you have administrator privileges try this.  click on the executable and use run as administrator. 

this assumes you purchased the app from a legitimate source.  many websites sell at a huge discount.  don't trust them.
