What if I can't import my 1099?

Be aware that if your broker or financial institution isn't on our list of import partners, you won't be able to import your documents.

the TIN should be on any tax form it sends you. At worst, call them or is Turbotax saying the TIN is invalid? 

if you imported, delete the field and re-enter manually.
