For my husband's 1099 for his ssdi it's asking me to put in what they took out of his check  for his medicare.whether it be a,b,or c.do I have to put that in to file my taxes.

Are you entering a SSA1099?   The Medicare that was taken out of his benefits should be in Box 3 of that form--on the left hand side.

 

 Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

You should enter it but you don't have to.  But it can be a Medical deduction if you itemize on Schedule A.

If it's not on his SSA-1099 then leave it blank.  Is he under 65?  Maybe they don't take out Medicare until 65.
