Meaning of "Your federal tax return was accepted by the IRS"

I received an email from Turbotax that "Your federal tax return was accepted by the IRS" and "You're officially finished filing your federal taxes – nicely done!". The IRS has already debited my bank account with the amount I owed. Does this mean my return was actually approved and I can go on vacation knowing there is no risk of being audited? If not, how will I know if/when it has been fully approved and I am finished for this tax year? Since I don't have a refund due, I cannot check by refund status.

You sure can!!  Enjoy your vacation!!  Your returns were accepted and the taxes you owed withdrawn,  that is all that is needed.  Of course, the IRS can always find something but rarely.
