Me and my wife got married on march 22 so should we file our taxes together or separate?

March 22, 2019 or last year? Your tax return goes by your status on Dec 31, 2018.

If you were married March 22, 2018, you would file together.

If you were married March 22, 2019, you must file separately. (Single)
