Amazon is correct that they do not need to issue her a tax form. According to

she was not a W-2 employer, but an independent contractor. In that setting, she is considered self-employed and could have received a 1099-NEC should they have decided to issue one anyways for under $600 payments.
Self-employed income will reported via Schedule C. Follow that link for the information you will need to dig out to handle Schedule C entry.
She didn't make enough money to claim, so no. She doesn't need a w2.
