Married filling separate

My husband and I file separate since we have been married over 20 years.  He hasn't filed in years.  My parent has put all accounts in my name along with my sister.  If the IRS would come after my husband would my accounts that are in my parent's name with me and my sister be at risk?

Married filling separate

No.

If you filed separately, you are not responsible for your husband's tax debts.

Please read this IRS document for more information.

However, if you have jointly owned assets (such as a home or a car), the IRS can levy those assets.
