Married filing seperate

it prompted me to in check the spose box? If this right? We are married but are filing separate.

Even though you are married and filing separately, the tax form requires that you enter your spouse’s information as well.

So could I put our w2s together like when we filed jointly but just have it be filing separate. Or does my wife have to have her own tax program and we file like we are single?
