Married filing separately from different states SOFTWARE ISSUES

Past years, we file federal together but for each state (Colorado & Taxes), we duplicate a copy of the software and run each state return individually. Colorado no problem this year, New York is a mess. What is going on this year? If I could delete my husband entirely from the duplicated return this might help.
