Mailing in tax return - attach w2?

For state returns like California and other states, do I have to mail W2 in? If mailing return physically?

Yes, you do. It's pretty much a universal requirement to attach Form(s) W-2 to your returns when filing, whether by mail or electronically.

What if you have multiple state returns to file and you run out of W2 copies?
