I worked as a HHA, made over $400 but under $600 working as a W2 employee for a business, discovered the work wasn't for me and quit.
So regarding this taxable income should I be expecting a W2 or some form or should I file without it?
Thanks in advance.

As a W-2 employee, you should receive the W-2 form from your employer or former employer regardless of the amount of income earned. If the employer believed that you were an independent contractor, they may not have issued a Form 1099-NEC since the income was under $600.
I suggest reaching out to your former employer to ask if they have a tax document available for you.
If you were a W-2 employee----not an independent contractor--- then you should receive a W-2 even for the small amount you earned. Contact the employer and make sure they know where to send your W-2. ALL of your 2024 W-2's must be included on the same tax return.
