Mac 2025 premier cannot open 2024 file due to wrong password

I have a save file from 2024, that I have "remove password" from the Encrypt menu.

When I try to import that into the Mac 2025 premier, it still asks for the password.

I've even tried re-encrypting with a new password, and it won't recognize that new password either
