Late filing

My efiling did not go through the first time. When I realized it, I was late for filing (or refiling). I still filed it (late). Will I get a penalty letter from IRS? Thanks.

There is no penalty if you are getting a refund. If you owed tax to the IRS and you were late they might send you a bill for being late.
