Do landlords who RECEIVE rental property income directly (not from rental management companies nor from rent collection services) from tenants who pay by check or ACH bank transfers use the same process in TurboTax to generate & file Form 1099-MISC as when rent is PAID? Thanks for assistance on this topic.

No.  As a landlord you do not provide the tenant with a Form 1099-MISC for the rents the tenant paid to you.
