The Koinly Complete Tax Report shows the Income which I know we must declare but can we also claim the Expenses section? If so, how? Thank you for reading.

These costs have not been included in your capital gains but you may be able to deduct them elsewhere on your tax return. Trading fees are already included in the capital gains and will not be shown here.

For tax years 2018 to 2025, miscellaneous itemized deductions have been eliminated.  Prior to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (TCJA), taxpayers were allowed to deduct expenses such as fees for investment advice, custodial fees, and accounting costs necessary to produce or collect taxable income.
