Using my last year's TurboTax account, I was able to file "single". What about the ex's, who does not have a Turbotax account, but wants to use last year's jointly filed return for review and future filings?

You can only file one return per UserID, if you already used last year's account to file, than your ex will have to create a new account to file their return.  If the ex uses the same account you used, then their information would overwrite yours.

The ex would have to manually enter their information into the new account.  You can give the ex a printout of last year's return to help with their current year's return.
