ITIN for Kid

Hello,

My kid is with me from 3rd of July 2019 to 28th Jan 2020.Can I put him as dependent in my tax filing 2019 and claim tax credit??

No, Your child is not eligible for the child tax credit or the Other dependent credit as he/she did not live with you for more than half of the tax year.
