I filed my state and federal taxes on Sunday, February 11th at approximately 8:00 pm. I have not received an acceptance or rejection via email yet. Why?

It usually takes 24-48 hours but it can take longer especially with the IRS having a huge backlog from January as well as the returns affected by the PATH act not being accepted or approved until mid-February.
