SOLVED for me: Call [phone number removed] and ask for the FINANCE DEPT. There was a freeze/hold placed on your account. Verified addresses in the intuit account. For me that is bogus street address 123 Main St. My CIty, My State, My ZIP all xxxxx-xxxx numbers (include the extension) Waited 30 minutes and then i was able to process. THEN take the Check box off and enter my billing address to match the intuit account. Everything processed and was accepted.
Key point the Billing address for your CC must match that listed in the Intuit Account Set up. If you don't update the Intuit Account info with the CC billing info, the system will fail, and enough attempts will apply a hold to your account, that only the finance department can remove. Turbo Tax support can provide the finance dept number.
-I did have to enter the turbo tax number several times before getting past the tele-offers.
This could be due to a loss of internet connection during the transfer. You may want to close any other programs using the internet and try again. You may also try using a different browser like Chrome.
thank you for your response.
When I attempt to process my fed & State, paying with my refund and using e-file, get this error too...
> I have not lost Internet connectivity on my side. I have active browser activity on the same computer.
Additionally, I can share that, when I try to process my fed & State and use a credit card pas payment I get the following error: "Oops. We’re having a little trouble processing your billing information. Please select "contact us" from the help panel to speak with an expert to assist you."
I have been having this same kind of issue year after year. Each year I enter my information to turbo tax and hold out hope that the system will have been resolved and this BUG patched. BUt it seems each ear Im met with a little heartburn.
2017 - resolved with customer service turbo tax giving me a value and free tax prep.
2018 - i had to paper file bc turbo tax couldn't resolve
2019 - Solved by entering the billing address of an old address from when i first opened the account
2020 - Solved by using the CC billing address of "123 Main St." and the city state zip of my card.
This year, they told me that the trouble shooting preformed may have tagged my account with a "hold" and to try again in 24 hours or contact the billing department (isn't open just yet they are working on PST)
Open to any suggestions....for my 2021 taxes...Im stuck
