It my federal tax refund was $1800 and turbo took $40 for federal $40 for state $40 for preparing my taxes that totals $120 but the refund is $1602 instead of $1680

For 2020? It is way too early to get a refund. The IRS doesn't open until Jan 27, 2021 or later. Are you asking about your 2019 return? Or maybe you got a Stimulus payment?

By the way, the extra $40 was not to prepare your taxes. It is the service charge to have the 80 federal and state (40+40) deducted from your refund. Which you can avoid by paying the fees upfront with a credit card. The $40 is optional.
