line 15 16 17 there is nothing on those lines to put in

I recommend that you reach out to your employer regarding the empty boxes 15, 16, & 17 on your Form W2. Typically, box 16 is the same as box 1 on your W2.

Did you live and work in a state with no state income tax? That would explain why boxes 15, 16 and 17 are blank.

Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming
