Issue with Itin numbers

Hi there, I'm on a visa working and last year was my first year filing in the country (filed 2018 tax refund) to do so I had to file along with W7 application for my two daughters under 13yo., this year I put their Itin numbers they got in 2019. For some reason using those numbers filing with turbotax I get only $500 deduction per child, removing those numbers I get a $4000 for both of the children, do I have to apply for new Itin numbers for them? Is it possible that I made a mistake?

Per IRS Child tax credit with an ITIN you cannot claim the Child Tax Credit if the child has an ITIN. The child must have an Social Security Number to be a qualifying child eligible for the Child Tax Credit (CTC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC).

You are only able to claim the Credit of Other Dependents of $500.
