Hi

This question is for a schedule F farm work sheet.  My Iowa state won't finalize my taxes until this is available.  I do the review and it goes to the work sheet.  I check and the tax forms are available for Federal and Iowa.  My Federal went through fine and said ready to file!!  Don't know what to do.  I don't want to mail my taxes in.  I have e filed every year for my farm tax for my schedule F and had no problems.  All forms are available for online process for Federal and State.

Believe it or not, some forms are not available for print or mailing even if they are available for efiling.

The IRS started this tax season pretty far behind.  That kind of delay flows down to the states.  So the IRS finalizes their forms and then the states finalize their forms.  And then the TurboTax programmers get the forms and have to integrate them into the TurboTax program.  Then there is testing to make sure that the newly added forms work with the program properly.  Then they are rolled out to the public.  As inconvenient as the waiting is it will still get your tax return processed faster than paper filing it.

Here is a schedule of when the state forms will be available in TurboTax.
