Unfortunately no, if you owe back child support, you will not receive your refund, the child's mother will get it or a portion of it. If she is receiving government benefits, then your state will keep it for reimbursement and a small portion goes to the mother of your child. If she is not on assistance, she will receive all of your refund. On a happier note, your owed child support will go down a little.
