Question

Is there a way to override SmartCheck errors and file electronically despite alleged errors?

So, I have run into 2 issues, one in my federal return and the other in my state return, where TT reports an error during smart check. However, I'm almost 100% certain that my form is correct and should be accepted as is, however Smart Check reports an error when there's very likely actually none.

Does TT still allow me to file federal and state despite the messages or do all SmartCheck errors need to be fixed first?

If you are receiving this message "Federal Return not valid...." this is a known issue and TurboTax is working towards a solution. If you are receiving a different error message, could you post it here so that we can properly assist you with it?
