This method has worked for some users:

Right-click on the CD's "Setup.exe" file
Click on "Properties"
Then in the "Compatibility" tab select the checkmark for Compatibility Mode, and set it to Windows 8
then OK at the bottom
Then Right-click again and "Run as Administrator"

Is there a real solution for this?  I've been on the phone with a specialist for 3 hours now and they finally admitted turbotax is "not very compatible" with windows 10.  Their best suggestion is to find another PC/Mac that doesn't have windows 10.  Seriously??  in 2018 you don't write your software to be compatible with windows 10??
