It tells me that I need to wait 24 hours and download the latest version of TurboTax but the latest version is on there

Your return might include something that TurboTax is working on updating.

Tax laws are constantly being clarified by the IRS and TurboTax is working diligently to keep up.

The IRS has not officially opened to accepting e-filed returns, so waiting 24 hours is not delaying anything.
