Is anyone else having their 8911 form delayed?

I used the tool and my census track qualifies under appendix B and the credit won't appear as valid in my 2024 TurboTax. is this a bug? The latest SW was just released

This census tract in Osceola County, Florida (Census tract ID =  12097043301) is eligible through 2030 because it meets the definition of “not an urban area” according to Treasury/IRS guidance based on 2020 Census definitions of urban area using 2020 census tract boundaries (or “2020 non-urban census tract”)

Is anyone else having their 8911 form delayed?

It depends. According to this IRS Source, The refueling or recharging property must be installed in a low-income community census tract or non-urban census tract. According to this source.

For property placed in service before January 1, 2025:

  1. Locate your property on the 2015 Census Tract Identifier and copy your 11-digit census tract geographic identifier (GEOID).
  2. Look up your GEOID in Appendix A PDF. If your GEOID is not listed, then your property is not eligible for the credit.

Re-check this again using the links provided above to see if you qualify.
