The TurboTax Deluxe 2018 method of handling DPAD 199A(g) (directly reduce 1040 Line 10 - Taxable Income - by the DPAD & attach an explanatory statement) is correct according to the IRS instructions for Line 10, but the IRS computers do not support this method when you e-file. I just received a deficiency notice from the IRS that it considers my 1040 Line 10 calculation to be in error. I will have to call the IRS to explain what happened.
