Turbo tax had a glitch in their system causing me to owe twice this year

TT has an accuracy guarantee. it won't pay any additional taxes you owed, but will reimburse you for any penalties or interest you pay due its incorrect computations.  Most errors are due to incorrect taxpayer input, but if you think it was TT calculation errors, file a claim

Yes but i called the number the letter gave me and they told me that turbo tax filed a transit fare without me knowing. Causing me to owe 725 and they also told me it was a reported glitch in turbo taxs system.

And the IRS/federal return doesn't have a "transit fare" deduction ... that must be a state issue ... which state ?

At this late point in time, i don't know if you just have to pay back OR what they ask, or whether you still must amend your Oregon tax return.  Talk to the help-line folks
