An  IP PIN (Identity Protection PIN)  is a 6-digit number that the IRS provides to taxpayers to validate their identity, you will need to contact the IRS if you were issued one and can't find it.

Refer to the following TurboTax Help articles What's an IP PIN? Do I need one? and How do I get my 6-digit IP PIN? for more details.

If you have already filed and the VA state return has been accepted, there's nothing you can do.  You will have to wait for your return to process and hopefully VA processes it without any issues.  If you're due a refund on your VA state return you can monitor the status here.

If your return was rejected or have not yet filed, go to your VA state return in TurboTax and go to the Other Tax Situations section and revisit the Virginia Identity PIN section and edit accordingly.
