Question

IP PIN

I have submitted these taxes five times now.  I entered the correct IP PIN number on the Identity Protection pin under Other Tax Situations.   I have deleted and re-entered the Turbo pins for myself and my spouse.  I have deleted and re-entered my AGI for both myself and my spouse.  I get the same message, IND-032-04 'SpousePriorYearPIN' or 'SpousePriorYearAGIAmt' in the Return Header must match the e-File database.

This sounds to me like Turbo Tax database issue.  I am using the IRS IP PIN number provide by mail (CP01A), and the Turbo pins.  AGI is correct for both myself and my spouse.

Whats next?  Just wasted 4 hours and now I have to print and snail mail?

    @mjjump1819

    Have you tried entering a 0 (zero) for the 2021 AGI for both yourself and your spouse and then file the 2022 tax return again?

    Hey DoninGA,

    Thanks for that suggestion. That works! Our taxes were accepted. Are you a Turbo Tax software developer?

    @mjjump1819 No.  I am just a long term volunteer on these TurboTax forums so have been around long enough to learn a few things.
