Ip Pin

Its my first time filing so I have never received a pin and I don't have any previous one since this is my first time filing.  What can I do?

There are several kinds of pins.

Choose which PIN and see the article related:

• If you mean the filing pin from last year, you can use your AGI instead. How do I find last year’s AGI?
• If you mean the IP PIN for identity protection, you lost or never got your CP01A letter, retrieve your IP PIN online at the IRS's Get an IP PIN website. Scroll to the bottom to retrieve.

• If you mean the IL PIN: 

If you live in IL, you MUST get an IL PIN from the state department.
