Iowa TurboTax

I am a non-resident of Iowa but TurboTax Iowa treats me like a resident, and I am unable through manual entries or step-by-step to correct it. it is charging me for my federal taxes and should only charge me for the income from Iowa how do I correct? no matter what I try the software does not allow it

Two places to look.

First -return to the personal info section with your name, address, etc. 

• There is a question, did you work in another state, be sure you have selected Iowa
•  Check that your home state is listed as your resident state with your address.

Second - return to your Iowa return.

1. You will see You've Finished Your Iowa Return
2. Select General Info to update
3. Verify resident is showing
4. Select change residency
5. Select Nonresident
6. Continue
