Installing 2024 on new Windows 11 computer

I received an email that 2025 requires Windows 11. I bought a new computer with Windows 11,  BUT TurboTax will not permit activation of my 2024 software (so I can easily transfer information from 2024 to 2025).  Any solutions out there?

you don't need the 2024 program only the xxxx.tax2024 data file which should be on C:\users\user-name\documents\Turbotax folder. However, the 2024 program should install on W11 unless the computer you have operates in S mode which only allows for the installation of programs bought from the Microsoft Store. You would not be able to install Turbotax 2025. the workaround is to turn off S mode. It cannot be turned back on. if you don't have S Mode contact support for help.
