Installation stuck at "we're ready install turbotax" for Premier 2018 version on Win 10 Home AND Win 10 Pro

This is for the TurboTax Premier 2018 version.

After putting CD in, the installation is stuck at 'we're ready to install turbo tax" and the progress bar remains stuck at 100%.

I have tried previous methods of adjusting 'compatibility mode' to Windows 8, ensuring running under 'administrator', but I am still unable to install the software.

remove CD and restart computer. if that doesn't work then check to see if CD is compatible with the system you are running. if you still have problems call turbo tax.
